SHANGRI-LA PERFORMANCE performed with the band at shangri-la hotel on 11 january 2006. pieces include centuria, selections from ocean and one moment in time. it was fun. haiis. euphonium section only got yumei and mii. two alumni members cos karriie meimei was down with chickenpox. in the morning was supposed to report to school at 940. but i was late lah. all because i went to cut my haiir.. when i reach home was 915 leii.. by then i was rushing to get everything ready.. then reach school at 1020. i wasn't worried cos hajar and amanda came a little later than me. =) haiis. the worst thing of the day was: took huiling shirt for yumei by mistake. then in the end, huiling got to take a smaller size shirt to put on.. the whole was in a mess when i reached. was realli hectic but after that everything was fine. when i reach, have to leave le. went to take my instrument, file and change up. then spray my hair black in the bus. reach there. it was like 11 plus. bandsmen arranged the arrangement of our performance. by then, we did tuning and went for lunch le. it looked like this:
the event started off at 1.30pm. then there was a interval before the next simlar one. we went to eat yu sheng (chinese traditional new year food). so nice leii.. but the salmon fish not really fresh lah. then we proceed out to have snackfood: sushi, fruit tart, popiah, chocolate moouse in small "cups", etc.. i love the fruit tarts. actually there's food for the second batch of people also. but we cant be going there eat right? so paiseh. though we really want to. hehs.
performed for two groups of people. we were listening to the same presentation. almost fall asleep. tired seh. disturbed people while waiting for our performance turn. i went to missed call bandsmen. hahas. :P on the way to shangri-la hotel, was mdm tan following us then miss lai on the return trip. kept disturbing them. LOL . fun sia . came back to school then after keeping instruments, we went to take photos again . so tired . took photos with some people only . wasn't in the mood to take after returning . took a secretary's photo, didis' photos and a alumni photo. coolx!
after the whole thing, we went mac to have our dinner. well, part of the mac belongs to BTMB. hehs.. it will probably be the last performance with the band. hopefully there'll be more though. being able to perform with BTMB again makes me feel great once again. gonna miss people in the band especially my didis, NAZRIIE and ZHIJIE just hope that to see you guys more in future. alrights. i think i just stop here for today..if you guys want see photos can go: http://btmbo6.shutterfly.com/action/ http://www.msnusers.com/bedoktownshangrila/ edmundation ..
